Great site. Is there anything special to do around jack plate holes and/or jack plate recesses in the wood?

I'm assuming that you're asking whether there's anything special that needs to be done with the tolex around the jack plate holes? There's not really anything special.. Some people just cut the tolex flush with the edge of the hole and some people prefer to cut the tolex long and then wrap it around to the back side of the panel. Since it's all covered with the jack plate when you're done it really doesn't matter.
